Woodland Caribou

Woodland Caribou, originally uploaded by Yellow Snow Photography.

Cooperative caribou who posed for me. I used dramatic tone filter setting on my E-5 to get the ... you guessed it... the dramatic tones... :)) A grea day with a drive to Dease Lake seeing caribou, moose, and mule deer on Highway 37 where I saw this guy and closer to home seeing three bald eagles and a golden eagle feed on a moose carcass. In the evening returning swans and people in Lower Post rounded off a great day.

This downy woodpecker is quite the artist. The downy is the smallest woodpecker in the B.C./Yukon border area. Captured with my Olympus E5 using a Zuiko 70-300mm lens and a 2x tele-converter.

Love and Trust

Love and Trust, originally uploaded by Yellow Snow Photography.

Student and Student Assistant showing our word of the day "loving" The students have to use the word in their daily journal as well as write out the definition of the word. I also will be using this in a violence awareness poster called "You can make fists when you hold hands"
